Ladies Night!

It's always fun to get the girls together and of course I LOVE jewelry so we had a ladies night out get together and JulieAnn showed off all of her premier jewelry! I love to have a theme for every get together so I went with Mexican Munchies and Margaritas!! I made a new recipe that turned out really great! I think we all enjoyed the food, drinks, laughs, and jewelry!! Very thankful to have such a wonderful group of family and friends!!

Here is the recipe for the Cheesy Veggie Tostadas:
Ingredients:
Tostadas (12)
Jar of Spinach Dip
Can of black beans
Pack of Taco Seasoning
Shredded Cheddar Cheese 2 cups
Dried Chipotle Pepper flakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix taco seasoning into the jar of spinach dip. Spread a generous amount of spinach dip mixture onto the tostada. Sprinkle black beans on top of spinach dip. Sprinkle cheese on top of black beans, then sprinkle with Chipotle flakes. Bake for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Howard's Birthday, Jan 18, 2012

Howard is not a big fan of his birthday, but you can't live in our house and not celebrate the day you were born!! I cooked Howard a big breakfast, decorated the table with balloons, a sign that Will and I made, and his gifts!! That night we went to Outback for dinner....Lora/Gigi, Justin, Jana, Alyssa, Ronnie/Poppy and Renee joined us. We had a great dinner and finished it off with a peanut butter chocolate cake!! Yummy!

January 2012

Alright!!! I'm going to get serious and start blogging in 2012!! January has already been a busy month!! Will turned 2 on January 2 and Howard has a birthday coming up on the 18th!!
My grandmother and grandfather also celebrated 25 years of marriage and renewed their wedding vows. My mom and I sang during the vow renewal ceremony....we sang when they were married 25 years ago, I was only 4!!
Mrs. Judy, Sherri, and Tiffany came to visit us after Christmas and we had a pre-party for Will! We had a wonderful visit with them and were able to celebrate the New Year with them as well!
Howard and I went to the Orange Bowl in Miami, FL to see Clemson play WV Tech on Jan 4 and although they lost we had a great time!!
We had Will's 2nd Birthday party at the Railroad and Trolley Museum on South Main St. in Downtown Memphis. He LOVED every minute of it!! They have a Thomas the Train track and mural...it was a fun party!!
We also added a new member to our family...SoCo, a female husky mix! She also has a January birthday, January 11!! We had her a little birthday party and made her a treat tower!
We are only half way through this month and have made some great memories!! I love my family and friends so much and am going to make it a personal goal to post to our blog at least twice a month b/c it is amazing to see how many things you go through in a year and how many blessings God brings your way!! Love to all!!

His Memaw loves taking him to the games and watching him skate! A new Ice Skating Rink opened in Olive Branch and we decided to take the boys and see if Will liked it as much as his big brother...boy did he!! Will had a blast and acted so big! My back and arms were so sore b/c he wanted to be on the ice the entire time! He's going to be a natural just like his big brother!
